To be honest who doens’t like a good quesadillia? The crispyness form the bread plus a delicious creamy filling. Like heyo!! Yuum!
But everyone might not want to consume cheese, like me, for many different reasons. Therefore the creation of this recipe! The bean paste has a perfectly balanced flavour and give the feeling of eating melted cheese. If you fancy you can add pieces of cooked mock meat or veggies of choice to give it an extra oumph!

The best cheeseless Quesadillas
- Yield: 2 quesadillas 1x

- 4 tortillas
- 1 package (à 240g) white beans of choice
- 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 2–3 tbsp tomato salsa
Instructions
- Mash the beans with a fork in a bowl or in a food processor. Add the nutritional yeast and onion powder.
- Divide the bean paste between two of the tortillas. Evenly spread around 1 tbsp, or amount of choice, of salsa on the same tortillas. Put the left over tortillas on top of the ones with the filling.
- Heat up a frying pan with a bit of oil or fat of choice. Pan fry the quesadillas so they become brown on both sides. Cut up in wanted shapes and enjoy!
