No bake Chestnut Chocolate bites

No bake bites using exotic chestnut flour for an extra nutty sweet flavour boost


  • 100g / 3,5 oz pitted dates
  • 2 tbsp nut butter of choice
  • Optionally 2 tbsp of strong coffee
  • 46 tbsp chestnut flour (or nut- or oat flour or such)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • Optionally a handful of raisins, chopped dried figs or apricots
  • 4 tbsp buckwheat or cereal, nuts or seeds of choice
  • 4 tbsp cacao nibs or nuts and seeds of choice


  1. In a food processor or blender mix the dates and nut butter, optional coffee, til it becomes a paste/dough. Add the cocoa powder and flour. The flour one or two tbsp at the time until it forms a uniform dough.
  2. On low-speed or by hand mix in your add in of choice. Shape into balls or into a large square that you later cut into equal-sized bites. Enjoy!
